It's my second year attending Men's Fashion Week, and so far.. I'm enjoying it! I attended the MFW VIP Fashion Night to be amazed that the event was not enclosed to just an area in the Marina Bay Sands. There were different bars where you could stop at to see different things. At one of the bars, I came across this open-concept changing room where models were preparing for the event. At the glass windows, there were 3 models standing and posing with different labels on them(as below). Apart from these bars, there were stations around the Marina Bay Sands where you could get photos taken and printed, get airbrush tattoos, get popcorn and candy floss. These were free for VIP guest of the Men's Fashion Week VIP Fashion Night. However, shoppers who spent a certain amount at the Marina Bay Sands, could redeem it.
Models stood wearing clothes from the various labels and held up stands which showed the label they were using.
I stumbled across Kien, founder of Senatus, and Benedict Goh, celebrity at the Men's Fashion Week VIP Fashion Night.
I saw this young pianist located at the middle of the event, playing on the grand piano which looked a lot bigger than him. Envy - he is so talented at such a young age!
I stumbled across many friends at the event. Below, on your right, is Wesley Chui, a make-up artist who I've worked with with some of my shoots.
Then, there is Jed(below, left), who I see at most events. HAHA!
Above, is Ebru(top, left), who works at Brands Fever. She is really a nice and approachable person.
I met Shavonne(top, right) at the event too! She is another young fashion photographer with promising talent. Really enjoy looking at her works.
Then, there is Jen(top, left) who came later on after closing up her shop Litmus at The Central, Clarke Quay. She is one designer willing to help anyone out.
Men's Fashion Week 2012! here I come...
