Tough Decisions!

A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one functioning while the other not. Only one child played on the non-functionaling track, the rest on the operational track. The train is coming, and you are just beside the track interchange. What would you do? You can make the train change its course to the non-operational track, saving most of the kids. However, that would also mean the lone child playing by the non-operational track would be sacrificed, or would you rather let the train go straight?

VERSACE Fall/ Winter 2011/12

I was walking through Suria Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre(Malaysia) this week and I stumbled upon the Versace Fall/Winter 2011/12 Ad Campaign. I fell in love with the shot in general. The products, the models and the HAIR! Though Fall/Winter is over, really wanted to share some awesome stuff of the famous Versace brand.

  

Saskia de Brauw looks amazing in the shots above. That's not the best part. In 2012, she is the Face of Chanel! Immaculate beauty from this dutch model!

   

You may recognize the model above. He is none other than Sean O'Pry. Did you just say who is he? He has appeared on ad campaigns and editorials for Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, H&M, Marc Jacobs, Emporio Armani, Lacoste, DKNY, Fendi, GAP, and Zara, just to name a few. He was also rated the most successful male model of 2009 by Forbes publication. A guy with such exposure is expected to be more matured right? Guess what? He is only 23 this year! HE IS MY AGE!

Their 2^nd Anniversary, themed “Havana Nights”, took place at Lucky 13 at 111 Somerset. The event began at 8pm with socializing and free flow of Cuban-inspired cocktails. The event included a Fashion Show with models from DIVA Models featuring designs of Jim Thompson, Dip Drops and Rosebullet, just to name a few. Apart from the multi-label fashion runway, there was also a live drumming performance which got people tapping their feet to the tempo.

Lucky 13 was packed to the brim, filled with many familiar faces. This included people like Jen Su(designer of SpunkPunkFunk), Zacquine Fowler(manager of deal.com.sg), Issac Ritz(Celebrity Blogger), Brendan Kong(Fashion & Events Blogger), and many more. We were all enjoying the music and mingling with everyone that it was difficult to actually leave!

The event which took place on the 12th of January 2012, started at 9am and ended with a buffet lunch. The event saw a filled auditorium at Toa Payoh, made up of supporters and award receivers of many different property companies. The sumptuous buffet lunch included mee siam, chicken wings, Peranakan cooked fish, and Nonya desserts. It was another milestone for Nic & Wes Builders Pte Ltd!
